Notice: This is a security update. If you are running any earlier version of Language icons from the 7.x-1.x branch, you're potentially vulnerable. Please upgrade to this version immediately. See SA-CONTRIB-2012-039 - Language Icons - Cross Site Scripting (XSS) for more details.

This is the first full release of the 7.x-1.x branch of Language icons, and doesn't differ wildly from 6.x-2.1 though there are some small changes. Please read the included README.txt file for details.

First alpha release for Drupal 7. We have a pledge to answer to!

Doesn't contain much different from the 6.x-2.x branch, but does have some D7 stuff.

There are known issues with the release, but I figured more people might help with the bug tracking if there was a proper release to try out. Be sure to check out http://drupal.org/project/issues/languageicons?text=&status=Open&priorit... before reporting bugs. :)

The first stable release of the 6.x-2.x branch, which marks the end of new features and string changes for the 6.x version of Language icons, as well as deprecates the 6.x-1.x branch. Once Language icons 6.x-2.x has been ported to 7.x-1.x, development for 7.x-2.x will be opened for new features.

Note: This will be the last of the 6.x-1.x series. 6.x-2.0 is just around the corner; please update when it is released.

Changes since 6.x-1.1:

• A few minor issues:
  • #693972: languageicons_translation_link_alter() refers to itself as implementation of hook_alter_translation_link()
  • #721310: Remove references to contributors
• Some small changes in the icons:
  • Replaced the Arabic language icon (#613038: Replace Arabic language icon).
  • Reduced the size of some of the icons a wee bit (#721266: Further (png)crush icons).

Release notes

The first release in the 6.x-2.x series. This is still under development, and not completely neither feature nr string frozen. It will be soon though, so this is pretty much a last call to get things in. Also, please notice that this is an alpha release; it is still under development, and might be behaving with certain quirks. It shouldn't, but it might. You have been warned.

When 6.x-2.0 has been released, work will be done on porting the module to Drupal 7.

With all of this said: Please test and report bugs and other quirks. :)

This branch will add the option of choosing between a variety of bundled "flag sets", in addition to a set chosen by the user.

It will also include the/a fix for #281585: two active menu local tasks and some string/i18n fixes (see #310859: Various string issues).
