Workflow error when trying to publish article

Hello,
I was trying to submit an article when this error appeared:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _actions_get_hook_aids() in /home2/thesteth/public_html/home/modules/workflow/workflow.module on line 828
Elsewhere in the Forums someone had a similar problem with flag.module on line 823, which was fixed by updating the Actions module.
In my case, the Actions module is at the latest version for Drupal 5.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
In the interim, is it wise to downgrade back to the former version of workflow and actions.. to keep the site working?

This error does not stop the article from being published. :S
I found out that the articles are still being published, even though this error appears, but it is quite inconvenient, because there isn't any way to navigate away from the error page except the back button, which takes the user back to the submission page. S/he will no doubt try to submit again, as s/he has no way of knowing that the article has been published.
update actions to 5.x-2.5
I had the same error after I had updated to workflow 5.x-2.3 (Drupal 5.9). After updating Actions to 5.x-2.5 I no longer see the error.
