Are any efforts being made to make Mailalias compliant with 6.x? I use it in several 4.7 sites that I want to upgrade.

reiterd commentedI ran this module through Deadwood to convert it to 6.x and it seems to be working for me (albeit with some warnings popping up.)

salava commentedI used Deadwood too with the same experience - working for me on Drupal 6.4. But I believe tjat it is desirable module for more users and it will be nice to have supported version for 6.x.

jcmarco commentedI have tested it and it works fine for D6.9.
Tested creating and alias for a user and mailhandler validate content coming from the original mail and alias mail, and no accepting content from any address not registered in any user.
There is just an error applying the patch in the .info file but just adding the core= 6.x is enough.
Re-rolled the patch again and now works fine.

Tomkun commentedI don't want to sound stupid, but I really want to get this to work on 6.10, but I have no idea how to use the patches you have posted...
Any help?

moshe weitzman commentedCommitted and new release issued. Anyone want to take over maintainership of this module?
dawehnershoudln't there be a way to handle this problem?
moshe weitzman commentedMaintainership problem? I handle it by asking in the issue queue of the relevant module. Thats the audience that presumably cares. I don't want to bother a wider audience yet.

dawehnerno that, so patches get lost :)
