Description

I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. I see a "filing cabinet" icon with a tooltip that says "Click here to upload file" when I create a page, but when I click on it, it immediately takes me to the top of the page - that's it! Firebug does not show an error.

I have this installed:
dbFM Web File Manager 5.x-3.4-beta1
dapi 5.x-1.0
dbfmgreybox 5.x-2.0
Javascript tools 5.x-1.1

And I did save the dbfmgreybox configuration. The documentation link (http://dbfmdemo.lineageone.com/node/4) does not currently work. There's little in the readme.txt and no install.txt, so I am am groping here. Am also wondering if there are any other ways to access this other than via node creation. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I wouldn't use alpha or beta code if I were you - stick to the main releases (there's one due any minute!).
The first thing you need to do is to go into Administer/Site Configuration/dbFM Settings - check that everything looks reasonable and Save it.
Make sure you've made the appropriate entries in User Management/Access Control and you should be able to see a menu option for Database File Manager. Use the menu option and see whether you can create directories and upload files.
Let me know how you get on.

5.x-3.4-beta1 is the only version listed here: http://drupal.org/project/dbfm. But I did find the menu option (not sure if it was there all along) and seems to be working! Thanks for your help.

I believe rooey's tagging a new release this afternoon - it would be worth waiting for that. I'm not sure how the beta release ever got to be put on the main page, it was riddled with bugs. There is a 'View all releases' link from the main project page.
