Hi,

Is it possible to output the "write to this author" link using some code onto the custom (user_profile.tpl.php) profile pages? I would like it to say "write a private message to me" and when they clicked on it, the "to:" field would be already filled in with the username of the user profile on which they clicked the link..

Just tried adding "privatemsg/msgto/[userid]" as the "Write to me link".. I believe that should work except the [userid] get's changed to "%5Buid%5D" in the address bar which is causing it not to work I believe..

I'm closing old issues since Privatemsg for Drupal 5 is not maintained anymore. I suggest you switch to Drupal 6 if possible, many of the reported issues are probably already resolved there and if not, you're welcome to open a new issue.
