Hi All,

Iam a new to CMS but i know some general concept.
Pls guide me to make this web site managed by drupal.
I have a 5 page static web site with 5 links on the top horizontal after the header image and a body part and a footer part all with static content.
The header part with a banner image is common in all the 5 pages.
The 5 url link bar with links are also common in all the 5 pages.
The body part has 5 different content in all the 5 pages.
The footer part is common.
I want to make this web site drupal managed so that alleast the contents in the 5 pages can be managed / edited by a admin in the first step drupal CMS feature.
So i have 5 html pages a a folder named images with all images.

Any body please help me how to convert it to drupal.
I have the drupal zip extracted and all files in localhost/drupal with the database installed and mf4good as per Market Force For Good as per the tutorial help.
Here is where I am.
Can some one please guide me step by step to fetch the exact requirement what i need which i have mentioned above.

Is it the same for Drupal6.3 too

See, this is just in keeping with my (two days') experience of Drupal...happy happy joy joy, followed by a big loud thud.

It's a great step-by-step for those with Drupal 5 (and Adobe Illustrator), but no, it won't apply to Drupal 6 (not wholly; there will be general similarities but a newbie wouldn't know).

It is very informative.
But currently I have downloaded the drupal 6.3 version and installed it.
The tutorial link http://www.gomediazine.com/tutorials/create-a-killer-band-site-with-drup... gives information on Drupal 5.
Will the instructions mentioned for Drupal 5. is the same for Drupal 6.3 as far as, this area is concerned as both version support this to build a drupal site from scratch.

To be sure, much will be similar, but as newbies, we wouldn't know where the differences begin.

I hear that David Mercer's Drupal 6 book only touches briefly on theming.

Oh bummer. It's the only Drupal 6 book out there, too.
