With Search 404 enabled, my Drupal installation returns a 'Page not found' instead of a search page. I'm also using the Pathauto, Path Redirect, and Global Redirect modules which could be conflicting with Search 404. Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks,

I have two D 5.12 sites. It works on one, but not the other and I have a similar set of modules installed on both. I'm struggling to figure out why it's not working on the other site.

I never could get Search 404 to work. I'm thinking it could be do to with our .htaccess settings? I know that I've got a lot of things happening in my .htaccess file. Should I post mine, if someone would like to take a look?

Hello wishstik

Are you using the latest 5.x dev or stable? Because they do have considerable code change.

I will check whether the modules you mentioned are actually conflicting with Search 404 and get back to you.

I set up a development system in localhost with all the modules that you mentioned and search 404 seems to be working fine.

Here are the details of the setup

Modules Used

token-5.x-1.11.tar.gz
search404-5.x-1.3.tar.gz
pathauto-5.x-2.3.tar.gz
path_redirect-5.x-1.2.tar.gz
globalredirect-5.x-1.4.tar.gz

Enabled all and used their default settings.

Is there any specific settings that I should use to recreate the error on my side?

I would like to add another point to this bug report, it reminds me of another similar bug report that came through.

http://drupal.org/node/292565

And the issue seems to be related to the drupal core, and there seems to be a fix to it from Drupal people. Do check it out and let me know if it is the same?
