Hey everyone. I rebuilt the FWD Entertainment from scratch using Drupal 6. Included in the rebuild is a custom module to generate the podcast feed, a custom module to parse the track lists and create "popular" blocks, a custom download counter module, and a custom module to turn the tracks in the track listings into affiliate links to the product pages on Beatport. There's some extensive use of the imagecache module in there as well... everything else is pretty much just basic CCK stuff and a few hundred hours of theming.

let me know what you think!

Good thing you didn't have to think about the design too much :)

To me it seems a bit far fetched to say that its a rip, a bit of inspiration maybe, but that should only be flattering for the designer. IMHO.

This site is better than uxmag. This is absolutely not a rip from that site. Uxmag is A LOT more cluttered than this one. Lets not be too quick to judge.

Just my opinion, but this design has more edge than uxmag and they dont look that much alike. Good job!!!

originally, I saw the "L" shaped featured article section of UX Mag and thought it was pretty neat and that I could do something similar that was more dynamic with pure CSS and without having to crack open Photoshop every time I wanted to update it. Looking back, that made it look quite a bit more like UX Mag. I changed it to what it is now the day the site launched and I'm glad that I did because I think it looks better. Thanks for the kind words, Eric and the1brit. Glad you like it!
