I guess I should document this in the install file, but when you create a taxonomy for categories you don't select 'Blog Entry' as a node type to apply the vocabulary for. Instead, to associate the vocabulary with EveryBlog use the settings page for everyblog, admin/settings/everyblog and choose the vocabulary their. That will take care of things.
Hope that clears things up

I just made a patch the dev-release of the 6.x line which should fix the taxonomy term select box from showing up when adding entries. The patch should be live tomorrow, or you can download the attached file and copy it into the 'modules/everyblog' directory to get the fix right away.

great :) It will be cool if there will also be "required". In taxanomy i can choose if category is required or not, it will be great to choose "required" in everyblog :)
