The following error occurs when i delete the "Default front page:" field (which is "front_page" by the way) and then save configuration:

warning: array_flip() [function.array-flip]: Can only flip STRING and INTEGER values! in /home/fillmor1/public_html/sites/all/modules/admin_menu/admin_menu.inc on line 272.

My normal front or home page is just blank. I'm afraid if I dissable the module entirely, I may lose the ability to admin my site. Can you please advise me of what I should do?

don't delete it. change it to 'node' or something like that.

Thanks for your help. Changing it to node gives me the "Welcome to your new Drupal website" page instead of my regular home page. I can't seem to find any way of deactivating the module. Can you recommend anything else?
