In a nutshell: My current host(hostexcellence) isn't fast enough and has way too much downtime. Users find this very annoying.
I've been doing some research and it seems like for shared hosts Site5 and HostGator are the most recommended. However, I have a social networking site that allows users to upload videos and music. I don't know if shared hosts will be able to support my site.
I came across this http://www.eboundhost.com/hosting/vps/. Should I stick with shared or Should I switch to VPS. Also is it hard to transition?
