Hey I have path redirect set up with pathauto and everything is working great.
I have a number of links that come into my site that are slightly malformed. I know what these links are, and it's just a couple - I want to redirect them to the correct URLs.
So I want both mysite.com/aples to go to mysite.com/apples.
When I try to add a redirect, it says I am already pointing something at "apples" because there is already an alias in existence.
Something about the way the module is set up is preventing me from doing a simple 301 redirect. Why does it matter if I have dupes? I should be able to have 100 different URLs pointing to one place, right?
Also, the wording in the module is very confusing. It would be better if it just said something like "Requested URL:" and then "Redirected To:" The way it is now, it's ambiguous, you could get the opposite meaning of what's intended.

I have multiple redirects pointing to the same node so I can't repeat this bug as reported.
The UI is hard to describe, but this is a problem we have for all "internal path" vs. "system path" vs. "alias" kinds of things. I think that the words in the UI in path redirect are about as good as they could be.
