Wow...
Really nice design. I'm no scripter or designer, but those are some beautiful pages.
you're too kind.
you're too kind.
actually, it's an adapted version of heilemann's kubrick theme for drupal, so massive props to him.
the design is 100% mine though. ;)

I need someone to design a site
Hi Akuma
Great job!!!! The site is amazing!
Do you do website design?
If so contact me using my Drupal contact.
Beautiful
Reminds me of a css tutorial I saw once by a girl called vierle or something. A minor point is that some glossary terms pertaining to wine like big, style and stock get glossaried when they are used in their non-wine context, which is a bit distracting. Not sure how you can fix this other than choosing your words very carefully.

thanks. before i started on the design, i sat down and looked at a couple of csszengarden designs:
colours:
http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=/161/161.css&page=2
(actually, the majority of colours i ended up using were sampled from the header photo)
layout:
http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=/128/128.css&page=6
header pic inspiration:
http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=/166/166.css&page=1
(the photo itself is of Castello Della Paneretta, in Chianti, taken by my brother earlier this year and used with permission from both parties)
the background pattern was one i created a while back called "St. George". featured here:
http://www.k10k.net/frames.aspx?section=patterns
(View by name... » St. George)
the column's background was created using characters i combined from a paisley dingbat font, which i reflected on a vertical axis for symmetry.
any knowledge i have regarding css i can attribute to these guys:
