the shoutbox doesnt auto update even though i have the refresh option set on 5 seconds...

Did you run update.php after installing shoutbox?

Actually, that is not the problem. Looks like you found a bug. A quick fix is to enable clean urls. I will look further into this.

I just wanted to say your latest released fixed the problem perfectly! Please see my needed features/changes post for some suggestions that could make the shoutbox a lot better!
