Little plus signs just don't open the menus that have children.
I had styled Activemenu a bit, worked fine in Firefox,
menus won't expand in IE7.
SO WHAT I DID WAS I commented out any CSS from my theme
related to the menu or menu block (so menu went back to boring blue links),
still did not fix. Switched from my Zen sub-theme to plain blank ZEN
(so default zen out of the box w no customizations) Still doesn't work
in either IE6 or IE7 - but fine in Garland.

johnalbinThe only "active menu" module I know of is: http://drupal.org/project/Activemenu But that's Drupal 6.x only, so that can't be what you are referring to.
Zen doesn't do anything weird to its menus, so its probably a bug in whatever "Activemenu" is.

daniorama commentedI can confirm that actimenu doesn't work with Zen, zen classic or any zen subtheme (yes, the activemenu for D6) either in Opera,IE or Chrome, but other Themes work. It seems a problem with activemenu javascript,.I will contact the activemenu developer but it will be nice to look what could it be, because it seems to happen just with zen. Thanks!
PS: it's a bit frustrating that activemenu and dhtml both have what the other needs... :'(
