Is there any way for a user to upload *more than one* file to the webform? Would it be a matter of adding multiple "file attachment" types? Or do you know of any other way around this, perhaps with another module?

quicksketchAs far as Webform is capable, at this time the only way is to add multiple file components. Right now Webform is not capable of handling "multiple" of any component (unlike CCK, which now has this support for all field types in D6).
