I'm not sure, but I think this module depends on the module "Blog API". If it is like that it should show this information in the module administration of Drupal.

This module does not depend on blogapi module.

Sorry to bug you again... I tested it on Drupal 5.x, PHP5, SQL5 and same with SQL4 on two installs. If I disable "Blog API" the module does not work.

This module does not depend on blogapi.module. I don't have blogapi enabled on any of my sites that also runs pingback.module. Do not open this issue again. Your problems lies somewhere else.
