The file was uploaded while editing node, but node button "save" not pressed, it would be useful not store uploaded file without saving node

If you don't save the node, the file should remain marked as 'temporary' and be automatically deleted during the next cron run after a predefined amount of time has passed.

Hai, but they're still on the server until that period is up... So you could write an interface to display recent uploads with the temp statud still set, and mark them permanent... You're looking for a more generic fileupload interface outside of the node context.... If you have time to work on it please do... I know I really want it with D6 Fields...
