Will get to this soon. I'd like to get an official 6.x-1.0 release first.

wflorian commentedI am also looking forward to the D5 version.
wflorian commentedDo you already know when die D5 version will be available? I would really need your module for D5.
Thanks in advance.

dave reidStill working on it, getting an updated 6.x release that I can feel good about backporting to D5. It's also a little hard since I don't have any personal motivation to work with D5 modules (and I'm only able to do this in my free time), but I always get more motivated when anyone donates to my development laptop fund. Rest assured, I am still working on this. :)

wflorian commentedI don't think that we will ever see a D5 backport :( If I had better php knowledge, I would give it a try..
aharown07 commentedI've gone to D6... so cancel my "metoo"

dave reid@everyone I've stated in #10 that I have no personal motivation to work on a Drupal 5 backport since I do not use Drupal 5 at all and I work on these modules unpaid and on my own time. If I get donations to work on it, I can get it done. Otherwise, it will not ever be done unless someone backports it themselves, it works for everyone, and it follows core coding standards.

So I say,
"unsubscribe." :)

dave reidTo each his own.
For the record, #10 also said "getting an updated 6.x release that I can feel good about" (which hasn't quite happened yet) and "It's also a little hard since I don't have any personal motivation to work with D5 modules." Since November, I had more computer issues and just recently was able to scrounge enough to order a new development machine, get backups restored, and get up to speed. I write these modules on my own unpaid time, and they are not sponsored. If there is a feature request for any of my modules that I think is worth me spending my own free time to accomplish, I'll get it done, and that is usually the case. But if there are requests for tasks or features that I have to go out of my way to accomplish, or where I do not have any incentive or sponsorship to complete, they are not going to get done. Anyone is free to put his/her money where his/her demand is.
I don't want to give anyone the idea that I was still working on this. At one point I had the desire to do so, but I do not any more. If that changes, I will update back here.

codenamerhubarb commentedNo worries Dave, we all understand.
dave reidNot sure I'm ever going to get to this. Drupal 7 port will be a priority over the Drupal 5 backport and will be much easier for me to do. I'll accept valid and functional D5 patches but I don't have the time to do this.
