I would love to have the option of doing it both ways. On my website (for a magazine) it would be ideal to have the User's pic appear with teasers for columns but not for articles.
Is it possible to do this only with CCK?
Thanks a lot,
Christine

Contemplate Module
The contemplate module will allow you to do this. Try it out.
I am going to look at the contemplate module...
Thank you!
I shall download it without any further "contemplation" and try it out;)

Christine
Clarifying
Hi Christine -
Can you clarify a little... by user's pics I am assuming you mean photos inserted into the post either with HTML, or one of the image plugins for a WYSIWYG (e.g. Inline, Image Assist, IMCE, etc). Is that correct? And you want to set it up so that any photos you insert that appear before the cutoff for the automatic teaser will not be displayed if it's the teaser that's being viewed instead of the whole page?
I'm pretty sure that's possible, though I'll have to get back to you on the specifics. Or someone else might be able to point you to the code you need (I never use Drupal's automatic teasers so I don't have the answer on hand). In the mean time I'm finishing that article in the other thread, and you "may" find that the solution it proposes dodges the need for this entirely.

No... I mean the "avatars":)
Take a look at http://74.220.215.68/~leemagaz/article to see what I mean.
With each teaser/post is my "avatar"...
