i went ahead and did a cron job run to see if maybe something was stuck - now my site won't load!
the admin i can get into fine (the blocks dont work still) but i can't get the site to load outside the admin
any ideas on what to look at ?

please anyone :( the admin loads fine and pulls from the db - i see the recent stuff - but i cant get to any of the content
ok now - when i change the
ok now - when i change the site to use garland theme - site loads fine - change it back to the theme that's worked fine for over 18 mos, and it wont load

theres nothing in the log
theres nothing in the log that looks out of place in the drupal log
when i remove all themes - and the site loads "themeless" - i can get to the blocks page
but when i put my theme back (or any other theme), i can't get back to that blocks page
and frankly - my theme won't work initially - i have to load the default theme into my theme's folder, than overwrite the files with my theme and it works

update: turning on and off
update: turning on and off modules also kills the site - then i have to reupload base theme into my customized theme folder, site loads, then overwrite with my theme

Is there anything in the Apache error log? What happens when a page request fails? What is recorded in the Apache access log for such page requests?
Would be especially useful to extract any error msg from the Apache error log corresponding to the cron run that went haywire.
