Any clues if you look in the Apache and Drupal/watchdog error logs?

theres nothing in the log that looks out of place in the drupal log

when i remove all themes - and the site loads "themeless" - i can get to the blocks page

but when i put my theme back (or any other theme), i can't get back to that blocks page

and frankly - my theme won't work initially - i have to load the default theme into my theme's folder, than overwrite the files with my theme and it works

thanks

update: turning on and off modules also kills the site - then i have to reupload base theme into my customized theme folder, site loads, then overwrite with my theme

gosh what is going on?!!?!?

Is there anything in the Apache error log? What happens when a page request fails? What is recorded in the Apache access log for such page requests?

Would be especially useful to extract any error msg from the Apache error log corresponding to the cron run that went haywire.
