Update to 6.x?

Issue Summary

I realize that there are triggers and actions now, but they don't do what this module did. I can't find a way to get the author of the content (rather than the node) for the email, and neither does it provide the useful links. Any chance for an update, or if not: where can I ask for more variables to be included in the actions?
