As discussed, this patch will allow required context to specify more information when creating the context.
So with a node context you can specify that you want node type x only to be specified, and then this will flow through to which context can be added to the panel.

The patch doesn't work as advertised: when specific node types are selected as required, the mini panel doesn't actually disappear (as it should) when those node type contexts aren't present. There may be some other problems as well, but I haven't checked beyond that.
