I installed rules 6.x-1.0-alpha4 today. My site is configured for german language. After the rules installation update status told me that there is an available update revision 6.x-1.0-alpha3 though I had just installed revision 6.x-1.0-alpha4! I changed site's default language to english and after that change update status showed that rules (6.x-1.0-alpha4) is "up to date". Then I switched site's language back to german and now the update status for rules shows the correct status of "up to date".

hm, that sucks. However I don't know what should cause it, perhaps it's a bug in update status.

I will try to reproduce the problem with next rules release. If it happens again I'll try to investigate some time debugging update status check to find the reason.

This issue is pretty old, so I don't know if it will even matter to the update status developers.

@brahms: any updates on this?

I don't remember when the problem disappeared but I did not see it again in any rules update since. So I mark it as fixed.
