Image Caption module doesn't show under Site Configuration

Issue Summary

After installing and enabling the Image Caption module (using v6.x-1.0) on a Drupal 6.1 site, the Image Caption module does not show up on the Site Configuration page. Attempting to go directly to the Image Caption module configuration via /admin/settings/image_caption/ yields the error message "Access Denied - you are not authorized to access this page". Checked permissions - user has full Admin authority. Checked module permissions - Image Caption not listed.

The module is definitely there because we can see it in the Site Building -> Modules list.

Also tried clearing browser cache, Drupal cache and running update.php. Nothing managed to shake it loose that we've tried so far.

Any thoughts?

Also located and installed the 6.x-2.x-dev but no joy there either.

Same problem I also downloaded and installed 6.x-2-dev as well with the same results. the version 5. works fine.

It does not appear on the menu and if I try /admin/settings/image_caption I get permission denied.
