Automatic content translation in Drupal 6?

Has anyone had any luck gettingGoogle Translate or a similar module working in Drupal 6? Any other recommended methods for content translation through Google or another automated translator?

Seems to me one could "upgrade" the gtrans module in about a day... it doesn't look terribly complex (this is, of course, assuming that google hasn't changed the protocol for translating). I'll take a look at it tomorrow.
