Hi,

I'm using a slightly older version of this module on a site, because Fago helped me with some custom Workflow configs this spring and I needed a patched dev version of Node Hiererchy at that time (which he sent me)... I'm attaching a zipped version of the patched module (nodehierarchy_5-latet-dev-patched.zip).

To quickly recap the long title, users apparently can still see the Children tab even if:
* their role doesn't have node hierarchy permissions to add or edit children
* they don't have node permission to create or edit any nodes that can be children

Has this been fixed in later versions of the module? And if so, is there any way you can help steer me in the right direction so I don't loose the patch?

Seems like I must be missing something... hoping it's just a minor thing... cause I'm just fixing any of my bugs on that site and hoped to be past this point... erggg :(

Thanks in advance for your advice / help!
:) Scott

Hi Scott,

I'm afraid I can't do much to help support a custom fork of the module, but Fago's workflow-ng patch #229023: workflow-ng integration which you commented on at the time is in the latest version, so if that's the patch you applied then you should try out the latest dev and see if you still have the issue.

If there's more to it than that, you may want to try making a copy of your site and try the newest version of nh. Your workflow stuff won't work, but at least you'll know if the issue is solved in the latest version and then we can see how hard it will be to port your modifications.

Hope this helps
Ronan
