I would like to use Node Comments with Casetracker module. Unfortunately they don't work together for now. Wondering if the module maintainers will be making them compatible in the future?

The 2.x version of Node Comments is now compatible with these modules. Instead of forcing all comments to be nodes, comments can now be nodes only on certain node types, so you only need to enable Node-based comments on the types that you need, and not enable it on types that require comments, such as project or casetracker.
