It would be nice, if there were the possibility for a site-wide central signature, that each mails would have, sent by smtp-modul.
You can edit publisher -information her, website-slogan and actual informations concerning special offers.
For example this would be very helpful if you use e-cardsand use that modul.

I'm not sure, if this feature concerns to smtp auth or should be an independent modul.

I'm thinking this feature request is outside the scope of this module. My feeling is that this module should modify as little as possible of the original content of the e-mail, and that it should be primarily a transport module. In my opinion, there are already too many modifications of the messages that go through this module, but I felt they were necessary for well formed e-mails. However, I'll let Luke have the final word on whether this issue stays open or not.
