I have had trouble with a multisite setup. I am creating installations in subfolders www.example.com/site1, www.example.com/site2 etc.

I regularly get a blank screen when I try to go to the installation page. I tried to reinstall from scratch and managed to get two sites installed, but the third one is just returning the blank screen again.

So I have followed instructions, managed to get it working, and now for site3 have setup the files folder, symlink and have copies of the default.settings.php and settings.php in sites/example.com.site3 folder.

Any clues as to why this is process works sometimes and not others?

I am having the simialr issue, I created a new schema, a new folder under sites as sites/mysite.example.com and copied the default.settings.php file to site/mysite.example.com/settings.php file and changed the $db_url. I have done this before and it has worked. When I go to mysite.example.com I get the errors as described in http://drupal.org/node/158043 for WSOD Multisite install (all teh database query errors) How do i fix this ? I am so frustrated. I have not copied any files from other sub site.
