Description

Hey man, great module. I used this for a very small site we're producing (where Gmap/Location would be just too much).

I have a few suggestions:

Instead of having the 'Always Enable for Content' checkbox, make that a flag on a node form. Like a new fieldset that says Add Google Map, and lets you put in the URL link you get from google (so the user doesnt have to copy and paste the div in, the module can output this into the content). Also youc ould give them the option of width and height on the div. That would be a great start. Currently I have to disable the 'Always Enable' and dump its scripts out on only the 1 page its needed.

That would be great. Then you could build onto it later to ask for Info Bubble: and you could dump that into the pin on click.

Perfect solution for very small sites!

That's a very good suggestion! But quite a bit of work I'm afraid :-)

However, I think the user wants to surround the map with some text, so they still need to specify some div or marker. Any suggestions for such a marker?

Also you probably want to enable/disable this option per content type else it shows up in nodes for which it is not relevant.

I think CCK integration, see http://drupal.org/node/291309, might be the best mechanism for such a feature as it also solves the problem that it might not be relevant for every content type. What do you think?
