I'd like to have a way to allow a user to set whether or not others can view a list of posts or comments the user has made. Eventually, once social networking is properly integrated, the user should be able to allow his or her friends to see what they've posted or commented on.

I can start working on this myself if you can just point me in the right direction.

Hi,

Please be more specific. What dod you think we should allow *precisely*?
I can ndirect you and tell you exactly what to patch and how. However, I would expect you to do some careful testing. If you're happy with that, then let's.

Bye,

Merc.

Right now a user, Mary, can go to another user, Tom's, profile page and then view a list of scoops Tom has submitted, commented on, or voted on.

I'd like for Tom to be able to go to his or her own user page, click on the "edit" tab, and then see a series of checkboxes under the heading "Privacy" that say:
"Allow other users to see a list of the scoops I've submitted"
"Allow other users to see a list of the scoops I've commented on"
"Allow other users to see a list of the scoops I've voted on"

These should be checked on by default. If Tom decides to uncheck the box that says "Allow other users to see a list of the scoops I've voted on", then Mary should not be able to look through a list of the scoops that Tom has voted on.

Eventually, if social networking is incorporated, I'd like for there to be checkboxes that say:
"Allow only my friends to see a list of the scoops I've ..."
