I saw an old thread about this for 4.7, but nothing for 5.x. Is there an easy way to implement links (/buddy/add/#) that do NOT take the user through the confirmation "Add" "Cancel" screen, but rather simply redirect to the originating page with a set message "Username was added to your buddylist"? Basically looking for an admin setting to optionally turn off one-way confirmations.

It is a minor annoyance, but I have been unsuccessful at theming buddylist_ui_addbuddy to get it to do this. My buddy relationships are one-way only (to "follow" someone else's contributed content), and the confirmation is an extra unnecessary step.
