I was searching for this option, but couldn't find it.
Based on http://drupal.org/node/149617 I noticed a lot of other people are also looking for this option, but couldn't find it either.
Couldn't find an issue for it either, so here I file this one...

I would like to have the same options for "Posting options" in "Administer -> Content Management -> Forums" as under "Comments", so that anonymous users with right to create forum topics can be forced to leave their contact information.

Fixing the version.

No contrib modules that I'm aware of have it yet. You could do it with CCK and custom theming.

This feature request is beyond the scope of the forum module so moving it to the node system so core maintainers can decide if this feature should be merged into core.
