Any chance you could have an option to ignore the expanded option that is set on the parent menu?

I have some drop down menus that require the menu to be expanded however i don't want them expanded in the split menu.

Thanks

I have tried this on the first version 6 release and the parent menu never gets expanded, regardless its settings. This is true for the first level menu block. The splitted block, with children menu entries, behaves the same way as default, so parent items will show expanded if set so. Please, try the version 6 release and let me know if that fixes your problem. Thanks.

it's the MBS-2 block that i am using with the Primary Links. Because i am using a drop down menu i have to check off "expand" on all of the menu items that have children so that they display correct.

I was hoping that if i am showing the submenu in a sidebar block that it would ignore those "expand" checkboxes that i had to put on the primary menu and just act like normal - Just expand when you are in a that subsection.

I realize this is an odd request, although others may run into the same problem. If it's something you don't decide to include in the module do you have any suggestions on how to get around this?

Thanks for the great module btw

I actually tried with the primary links in a sidebar block and worked fine on 6. Are you using version 5 or 6?

Hi I'm using 6, i was digging around last night and saw your 6 release before you made it public =P

I'm now using the current 6 release though.

So if you have all of your primary links that have sub menus set to expand they display collapsed when you go to the main section page?

It's not doing it for me. They seem to be retaining whatever "expand" settings i set for the primary menu.
