Dumb user question?

Installed but:
- Can't see any new menu options
- Files are still saved to same location
- Readme.txt is blank
- Home page link leads to a blank page

So I don't know if it is broken or not?

Did you enable OG Files in the Group node edition?
Which version of Drupal are you using? Which PHP version?

Re: "Did you enable OG Files in the Group node edition?" - not sure exactly what you mean? But if you mean in the "Organic groups/Organic groups configuration" "Content Types" list - "Group Node"'s edit screen then there is no such setting.

The module is enabled.
OG has a content type defined as the "Group Node" type.

I can't find any settings for OG files in any of the following locations:-

  • "Organic groups configuration" screen.
  • The "Group Node" content type's configuration screen.
  • Under Site Configuration menu.
  • Site Configuration menu/File System screen.
  • Site Configuration menu/File Uploads screen.
  • User Access (role permissions) screen.
  • User Settings

At the moment I am working as the admin user so normal user role access permission screen

Is setting file uploads to Private anything to do with it - if so it could be a problem as I need to ensure security.

I was having the same issue. You need to go to admin/content/node, edit the group, and check the box at that says "Enable OG Files to this group?"
