Problems updating new version...

Description

Have tried several times to update from rc4 to rc5
First time I got this error....

Second time I got this error...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function og_is_group_type() in F:\xampp\htdocs\drupal6\sites\all\modules\og\og_views\og_views.module on line 136
Now I got this error despite trying a number of ways to update... I am using a .tar file, but the last time I tried, I used restored database (rc4 was working), I disabled the rc4 modules, deleted the entire og-rc4 file, moved over the og-rc5 file and ran update. It appeared to have worked, but when I logged out, I got the above error message. I am not using any OG-related modules. I am using Views.

Hope this helps.

Sorry for troubling you with this. As expected, I had several problems at my end.... Had not successfully cleared all the files from rc4 and had insufficient memory for one of the functions. (33m required and php.ini was set at 32)

Here's how it was done correctly (and thanks for help from jvd)...
updated php.ini file to allow for more memory
Deleted OG rc4 folder
Uploaded OG rc5 folder
Ran update as user1
works like a charm.
