When I create content that shows up in the Event Calendar it has the string (taxonews) I get 10 to 15 emails a week asking who "Taxo" is
is there an easy way to blank this or changes it to something more logical, like the area where the news is coming to.
I looked in event and could not find out how to to it there. looked at local all so and could find it.
Best regards
Ron
PS; Many thanks for this great module

fgmHello.
I do not understand where you get this information displayed: taxonews normally affects only its own blocks, and no content elsewhere. Where do you see this exactly ?
ron_mahon commentedActually removing all taxonomy settings in the event setup page. did fix the problem, I don't realize that the catch was on the staging server.
Every thing is good now.
Thanks
Ron

fgmOK, apparently your problem is fixed : maybe you can suggest a patch to the documentation or help to avoid others meeting this problem ?

ron_mahon commentedThe problem was on news that was put in to the event module. The event module id the content by the Taxonomy term not a bad idea.
My problem was that I only had one taxonomy, that I named taxonews. So every thing en the event calendar showed taxonews and nobody could figure out what that meant.
The event module has a option to hide the taxonomy term from the content it receives. Had I chosen a better name or names it would not have been a problem.
Pilot error.
Regards and thanks for the follow up.
