Heebie Drupal: Some Useful Drupal Tools + Article Site

heebie - August 7, 2008 - 19:38

Hello there!

After falling in love with Drupal, I am very proud to announce my first Drupal "Fan Site" which I have created: Heebie Drupal. It has a couple of useful tools, and an area where people can write articles about Drupal and receive some money via AdSense.

Drupal UberSearch

I'm actually quite proud of this - it's a Google Custom Search Engine mixed with Google AJAX Search API to create a quick, easy-to-use Drupal Search. All on one page you can get links to project pages, tutorials, forum posts and more about your search terms (eg a module) meaning you can get at a glance information about a particular aspect of Drupal.

Drupal Theme Viewer

I thought there was a need for something else in addition to ThemeGarden.org and the Drupal theme repository - something like what the folks over at WordPress.org have. So, I created a list of Drupal Themes, with screenshots added to those that didn't have one, and most of the screenshots are from actual live demos so no cheating! (A couple of theme's screenshots are inaccurate). I also spent a mammoth amount of time categorizing themes, so that now you can filter by colours used, sidebar info and more. I really hope you find it useful because it is something I am very proud of!

Other Sections

Include a blog, a book list, articles (which anybody can contribute to and receive 70% of AdSense page views) and a huge video repository of Drupal-related videos.

Conclusion

So, please let me know what you think, whether you like the site and have any feedback....

Regards,

heebie.
