Does Drupal's Wiki work in 6.3?

I wish we had a Wiki to explain this Wiki!

Ok, I installed Wikitools for 6.3, activated it, clicked as many things as I could click and Wiki does NOT look like the Wiki demo site.

I installed these modules:

1) Flexifilter
2) freelinks
3) Pearwiki filter

A menu item appears on the left "freelinks" (they are not free by the way - they cost a lot of time)

I can create a Wiki word like [[pig]] and pig will appear in Freelinks with a "target" of "Create this content".

However the original page still shows [[pig]] instead of a pig with a link.

So how do I get that to work?

What's the deal with Flexifilters' example of Mediawiki Format gives me, user #1, the error message "You are not authorized to access this page" - what's up with that?

Just spent 10+ hours messing around with all this stuff - what a waste of time!!!

I've messed around with PearWiki_filter and trying to create a WikiPage Input Format.

Does someone have a step by step way to incorporate all these modules and modifications?

Oh, once you use freelinks you can NEVER get rid of the page or rename it. This could be because I'm not using all the part correct but in my example "pig" remains in the freelinks directory even though you'd like to rename it or attach it to a book or want to get rid of it.
