Hello,
I installed Gallery 2.3 and Druapl 6.3
Every worked fine until I uploaded more albums. Now my drupal installation is broken and the only thing I have is the following message.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6812159 bytes) in /home/content/x/x/x/xxxxx/html/drupalsandbox/includes/menu.inc on line 956
I tried to delete some albums from Gallery2, clear the caches and so on and I have the same message.
I tried to configure the memory settings in the main.php of Gallery2, in the .htaccess of drupal and Gallery2...
Always the same results.
Gallery2 stand alone works fine, no problem.
I would like my drupal back :-(

It's PHP that is running out of RAM memory, and NO, this is not related to how much stuff do you have on your disk, or in your databases (again, disk-based).
It is the
memory_limitdirective of PHP that specifies how much RAM a php script is allowed to consume.Documentation for the memory_limit, is on the PHP Website.
When dealing with
php.inidirectives you should always keep in mind that multiple copies ofphp.inican be present on your machine, all in a hell of different places, but only one is actually used.And to make the matter even worse, Apache is allowed to change the memory_limit directive, from its configuration files (httpd.conf and/or .htaccess).
So, how do you find the copy of
php.inithat you need to edit?Look into phpinfo() output, for a line that says:
Find that file, look for a line that says:
And change it to something more sensible like 128MB...
And look for strange places where the directive could be hidden...
If you have shell access, try some grep..
By the way, the default value for the current PHP version is 128MB, for version 5.2.0 was 16Mb, before it used to be 8MB, so... what kind of environment are you using?

On my server memory_limit is 64M

for info, you cannot delete the file until you change the permission of the default directory.

Glad to know you solved your problems...
But You should think twice before dumping
phpinfo()out in the wild (I did not ask you to do it), there are quite a few personal informations in there: at least sanitize it...A few things I didn't ask you, I don't need to know in order to help you, but that can be used against you are, for instance:
your account on godaddy: 'danielsue';
the name, of your website: 'drupalsandbox.theoddcouple.eu';
your IP address: '67.170.82.138 = c-67-170-82-138.hsd1.wa.comcast.net.' (you from Washington area?);
your server IP address: '72.167.131.29'
you should disable this: either delete it, or make it non readable by php;
