Hi,

(Sorry for my english...)

Is it possible to NOT send an e-mail when a node is updated ? but only send a mail when it is created.

Thanks for your nice module !

Would be nice to have this as an option when editing the post - eg a tickbox to "send notifications". Also if sending a notification of an update it would be useful to be able to indicate in a one-liner what the update is about. dokuwiki has a user-friendly function when updating a page that lets you indicate whether this is a "major" or "minor" update, and I believe subscribers to the page can indicate if they want to be updated for major/minor updates.

FWIW, I'm still at drupal version 5.x

fantastic module - have been enjoying tinkering with it and hope I can get it working in my setup.

Cheers,

Tobias

FYI - I think this is being worked on here: http://drupal.org/node/255402

Since Jose marked the other issue for 5.x, I'll post this patch for 6.x here. Mind, this is a hack; all it does is suppress the notification event processing if the node was updated. Obviously, a long-term solution would be to provide a UI.
