I have a 5 points for each new node and 1 point for a comment.

When I delete a node the author loses 5 points but comment author do not lose any points. Is this a bug or do I have a misconfiguration in my settings ?

I am not sure if that is a bug or a "feature". It is not the commenter's fault that the original node got deleted.

We plan to make userpoints_basic a separate module outside of the Userpoints API. This way it can have more options for such cases where no clear cut "right way" that everyone agrees on, and each site owner can configure it a different way.

Can I also add that Subtraction is misspeled in the UI and in this Issue node? You are missing the "c", reading as "subtration". :)

Sorry for spamming the participants in this issue. Due to the release of Drupal 7 and the lack of time from the maintainers, I'm closing all remaining 5.x issues for Userpoints.

Feel free to re-open this issue or create a new one for 6.x or even better 7.x if this bug is still open or feature is missing for these versions.
