RSS feed view doesn't filter nodes by chronology

Description
The filter Event: start date = "Is Greater Than or Equals = NOW" does not seem to kick in for Views type "Views RSS: RSS Feed". Instead all nodes are displayed.
The other filters appear to be working fine. I cloned a working Block view that does this correctly.
Otherwise it's terrific - but perhaps this should be filed under Views or Event. Thanks!

I guess this should be a support request, b/c i'm hoping for a fix. can provide more info if needed.
