No mulitlingual hyperlinks?

Testing a Drupal 6 install includes multilingual content. Set up like
website.com/nl/ for the Dutch content (default),
website.com/en/ for English content (translated content).

Sitemap.xml however only shows "website.com/contact" rather than both "website.com/nl/contact" and "website.com/en/contact". No configurable settings can be found in this module relating to this.

My questions:
- is multilingual content supposed to feature in the sitemap?
- if so, do you suspect a config error from my end?
- if not, will multiligual content be supported anywhere in the near future?
- can I fix this myself?
