user_external_login_register function missing?

Issue Summary

user_external_login_register function is called on line 42, but I cannot see implementation anywhere? Am I missing something, or is this even supposed to work?

Ah, this is a function implemented in Drupal6 core. Sorry about that.

If you need it to the back-porting then I suppose to copy the function itself from the branch drupal6 and use it locally...
