This module has many advantages over the standard color module and I love it to use (though currently only for testing purposes). Unfortunately I'd need to use it at a production site (default color.module wont fit) so my question is: Do you assume that there'll be major changes 'til official release of this module?

Hi. I apologize for the delay, I just set it up so all issues go directly to my inbox.

Today's release, along with the bugfixes coming tomorrow, include some code documentation + examples. The bugfixes are coming a day after I started a second demo tried out by a few close people.

This module is still under heavy development by me -- this includes features, more documentation, theme examples, and the like. The features promised in my initial proposal were finished, even going beyond to include sample themes and other goodies and special touches I added (block, multiple images, multiple fills, custom CSS tag replacements, new edit scheme location, default schemes per theme, new schemes, scheme renaming, keeping blank-transparency on altered PNG's, etc). :)

We'll be seeing major changes even after SOC. Superfluous stuff is going to be stripped out to make this module lean and stable as possible. Also making way for good, down-to-earth documentation.

If there is anything you find as a theme developer or production site maintainer that irks you that you want to see fixed, by all means feel free. I have pretty thick skin. At the moment I'm the easiest guy to go to right now because I'm still motivated as ever. :)

Admirable stuff, I'm watching progress as of now! It might be a good idea to give theme developers pointers how to integrate this module.

Great work and good luck!

I just wanted to let you know that, in the next couple weeks, we at Palantir are going to be evaluating this module for use in a new project.

I've never liked the limitations of the existing color module and was very happy when your project was chosen for GSOC.

I'm building a new theme for Drupal contrib and using this module as a dependency for the color bits. I am wondering if this module is going to replace the color.module in D7? Is that the plan?

I'm mostly exploiting the new tags feature, which is something I've been wanting for a long time, so far so good.

I'll be making an initial commit in the next week or so, I'll let you know when its in CVS and perhaps you might be able to give a once over... I know how much free time you developers have, all coffee breaks and cakes eh?

Absolutely, I'd love to help out with the color file.

FYI: We do have major updates coming forth every 7-14 days -- so things may change between now and then.

Great, I'll give you a heads up on it, delayed by another week or 2 due to work commitments. Its taking me a long time to work out my premade schemes due to the complexity of the style sheets.

I'll be sure to keep up with releases.
