This is a wonderful module, and it definitely makes working with forms easier. A good upgrade to this module would be the ability to change which fields load as 'collapsed' and 'always open'.

The functionality would be good to see but doesn't fit in this module, which is exclusively about what not to present. We need a general-use form alter module. I began work on one, http://drupal.org/project/form_alter, but haven't written a UI for it.
