Description

well Loong, I understand you may be too busy to continue developing your module. but you could've sought a new maintainer. I offered to chip in on the project myself as a means to support you.

as for that "very small view", it involves needless changes on the template and it doesn't format the monthly archives' links correctly. it's a violation of usablility guidelines for the web: having a link such as "mysite.com/blog/2008/08/11/title" and then another one: "mysite.com/month/20080811".

like I said, I understand you may have better things to do with your time. but you didn't have to close down the module development. it's a good one and there are NO satisfactory replacements. you could have sought a new maintainer.

you know, part of open source is software everyone can use and develop; another part of it is responsible funding and maintaining. perhaps you should think this through.

I'm no programmer and I'll miss your module. it was very professional coding. I'll keep using it while I still can.

regards,
Luciano

you can apply for to be a co maintainer. Though I think what this module does can be done with views.module.

Using a view and having to modify my template is not a solution for me. I doubt is a real solution for anyone.

I also would like to see a new mantainer for this module, even if it's me, although I don't know this module's code.

I don't get very close to the PHP level of expertise needed to support a module on my own. but I'd chip in any time.
