Hi,

The alternate text after creating image widget with cck/imagefield does not seem to work, wonder what I could be doing wrong. I am using D6. Anyone else facing this problem.

write a ticket, if its a bug, you'll get better support.

go to the Issues queue for the imagefield... do a search first and see if someone else is having the same trouble.

try and describe exactly what you were doing. take screenshots if you think it might help, and upload them.

out of curiosity, i checked out your question... and i see that if i enable "alt" text i can't enter it upon creation, but if the image is uploaded, then i can edit the alt text.

are you seeing the same behaviour?

anyway... i think you should write up an issue for it.

Do you have to enable "alt" text, if yes where?

I will described what is happening with me. The "alt text" option does not appear till the image is uploaded. Once you upload the image, the field to enter "alt text" appears. In this field if you enter anything, it does not get saved nor is it displayed. This is the problem I am facing at my end. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong as I am new to Drupal and am using D6.

I will also be creating an issue for the same.
